On the 29th of September 2022, the Lord woke me around 4am and said, “I’m about to unleash my fourth horseman upon the earth.”
I replied: “What would you have me do at this time Lord? I praise You and I worship You O Lord God Almighty, who was and is, and who is to come.”
I noted that I had been seeing the number 4 quite a lot in my day-to-day life, in the lead up to receiving this word from Him. I was fairly sure this statement was in reference to an end times prophecy mentioned in the book of Revelation, therefore I looked up the following scripture to read about the word God had given me.
“When the Lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, ‘Come!’ I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.”
Revelation 6v7-8
From early 2022, I began seeing the number 44 through supernatural signs and wonders in every waking moment of my life. I was 44 years old when these signs commenced in my life and I have been experiencing these signs in increasing measure ever since. The urgency of the message from the Lord has been very clear, that we are in the very last days and many awesome and troubling events will be taking place before Jesus returns. (See Matthew 24)
The Lord has placed such an urgency in me, that time is short for His bride (His people) to share the gospel throughout the earth, and she must be preparing herself now for Jesus’ return - as He is coming back soon!
“So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.”
Matthew 24v44 (Note the number 44 in this scripture reference.)
I have been experiencing these supernatural signs with increasing intensity each and every day, and God has been confirming His word to me through numbers represented in significant world events, as well as in my personal day-to-day life.
For example, in world events: On the 20th of October 2022, the UK Prime Minister, Liz Truss, resigned after 44 days in office - the shortest term in history.[1] In another example, Elon Musk purchased Twitter (now known as X) on the 27th of October 2022 for $44 billion.[2] On the 29th of January 2023, a 5.9 magnitude earthquake struck Iran, West Azerbaijan province at exactly 9:44pm.[3] On the 4th of August 2023, more than 440 reporters lost their press passes after the US White House changed their requirements,[4] and on the 23rd of August 2023, India became the 4th country to land on the moon.[5]
In further world examples, on the 18th of October 2023, US President Biden met with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu during a wartime visit. NBC News reported the live interview at 4:40pm in ET time zone (eastern United States) and Netanyahu spoke for exactly 4 minutes, finishing exactly at the end of 11:44am, Tel Aviv Israel time.[6] In another example, the BBC reported a Morocco earthquake of 6.8 magnitude on the 10th of September 2023, with “…Such magnitude unusual for the country…" and the earthquake “…struck at 23:11 (11:11pm!) local time on Friday.” "…The epicentre was in the High Atlas Mountains, 71km (44miles) south-west of Marrakesh…” (BBC, Amos, 2023).[7] On the 4th of October 2023, the ABC news stated the following in regards to grocery shopping in Australia: “At the peak of COVID we were spending about $4.4 billion every month online.” (ABC News, Stewart, 2023).[8]
In another example, on the 14th of October 2023, Australia voted on the Voice to Parliament Referendum, in response to the Uluru Statement from the Heart, which is exactly 440 words long.[9] On the 22nd of October 2023, a magnitude 5.0 earthquake occurred in Colac and Apollo Bay, Victoria, where it was reported that “…The earthquake occurred at Colac at 2:11am…” (7News, Magennis, 2023) and an aftershock of magnitude 3.5 was recorded in Apollo Bay at 5:44am, with over 5,000 reports to Geoscience Australia.[10]
In further examples, on the 18th of December 2023, I saw a recommended YouTube video about Australia’s current housing crisis, which had 82,911 views and the length was 11:44seconds.[11] As a final example, on the 1st of January 2024, I read a CNN article that had been updated at exactly 4:44am - reporting a 7.5 magnitude earthquake in Japan; I also read an article about the same earthquake in The Sydney Morning Herald, and that article had been updated at exactly 9:11pm.
Examples in my personal life: I regularly see specific times on my phone, emails and daily interactions featuring 11s and 44s. For example, on the 9th of September 2023, I sat down to work and it was exactly 11:44am when I opened my laptop. I then opened a personal email report and it displayed a 44% increase in streams, a 2,449% increase in subscribers and 9,444 views for a key track. In another example, on the 26th of October 2023, I received a PayPal email confirmation at exactly 12:11:44 (12:11pm and 44 seconds). On the 25th of September 2023, I arrived at the supermarket and opened my shopping list and it was exactly 9:44am! It was also Yom Kippur (the holiest day of the Jewish year) on this particular day and I bought lamb for our roast meal, so I could break my fast at 8pm that night. When prepping the meat at home I looked at the label on the lamb cut and it was exactly 1044 grams! On the 25th of April 2023, my phone beeped in the middle of the night to notify me of a calendar invitation at exactly 4:44am! My phone had been on all night and the notification was sent by my husband the previous evening, but only came through at that specific time. And as a final example, we experienced a thunderstorm in our home city on the 4th of October 2023, and the local news reported, “Over a three-hour period up until 11pm, the State Emergency Service recorded an amazing 44,000 lightning strikes…” (GLAM Adelaide, Caruso, 2023).[12]
These numbers happen sometimes several times a day now, and this is nothing short of supernatural. I feel privileged and also very responsible to do the Lord’s work as a result. I’m so grateful to the Lord for His signs all around us and I’m also aware that these signs are serving as a serious reminder of the hour we are living in, as the fourth horseman has been unleashed.
The examples above are just some of the signs I have observed, to give you an understanding that God is speaking to His people. He is using signs and wonders to let His people know that we are moving into a very specific and important phase of the end times (see Acts 2v17-21). My husband and I personally believe our generation will be living through the very final days before Jesus’ return, and we all need to be preparing our hearts and lives now.
All the events that are going to take place throughout the earth, including every specific detail of our lives, have all been perfectly planned and timed by God Himself. Through all the signs around us, I can clearly see that God has planned everything ahead of time, right down to the finest detail.
As followers of the Lord, we can rest assured that our times are in His hands (see Psalm 31v15) and we need not fear or be afraid (see Isaiah 41v10) for our salvation is surely drawing near.
